I want to install an AdHoc IPA file to an iPhone, but I don't want to back up the apps of iPhone into iTunes, because the iPhone is not mine, and there are too many apps in it. Is that possible?
iTunes application is used to install IPA files on iOS devices using the app store. First, you need to plug your iOS device (iPad/iPhone) into your laptop. Second, go to iTunes and locate your iOS device in the section Devices of the program's side menu. Drag your Open IPAss into the iTunes device list.
Download Cydia Impactor from its official website > Install and launch it on your computer. Step 2. Drag and drop the . ipa file you saved into Cydia Impactor > Enter your Apple ID and password in a pop-up dialogue box > Then tap OK to confirm.
You could also use Xcode (at least Xcode 4, haven't tried it with earlier versions):
Open the Organizer and select 'Applications' under your device in the Devices tab. Now use the Add button to add your ipa to the device.
