Sorry for the very basic question, but I can't find on google how to delete a working set.
So how can I delete a java working set in eclipse 3.4? Thanks

A Working Set is a subset of your Eclipse projects. You can create different Working Sets and then select which Working Set to display in the Navigator view. Specifically: "Working set" (in this particular context), is an "Eclipse thing" The purpose of Eclipse working sets is to help organize your projects.
Projects can be deleted within Eclipse. Just select the project and choose delete. If you want to completely remove it from your harddisk you have to select "Delete project contents on disk" in the appearing dialogue.
Make sure the “Do not delete contents” radio button is selected, and then click Yes to remove the project from Eclipse. The project will disappear from the Package Explorer.
To delete a project, right-click on the project in the Package Explorer. Again, select “Delete” from the context menu. To delete your project select the option “Also delete contents under…” and select “Yes.”
In the project explorer view, there's a toolbar with a down arrow that will show a menu when you click it. Choose Select Working Set..., and in the dialog that follows you can remove working sets
