When you release a new update of an iPhone app, iTunes temporarily stops including reviews from old versions while it waits for users to submit enough reviews of the latest update. Eventually, it starts to include all reviews when calculating your average and displaying your total review count.
When does this transition take place? Do you need to reach a certain number of reviews? If so, what is that number?

Note that users can update their rating at any time. Total ratings: Number of ratings your app has received in its lifetime. Note: Total ratings is only available for apps that have received five or more ratings.

What happens if an app gets a 1-star rating on the Google Play Store? However, even if the rating of an app falls to 1 star it is highly unlikely that it will be removed from Google Play store. “An app with 1 star rating will still be available for download even after it gets poor ratings.
Apple App Store: average app rating Q2 2022, by category Business apps presented the lowest star rating on the platform, with an average of 3.65 stars during the examined quarter.
It's 5 (ratings, comments are options). While I say this from personal experience on various app, it's impossible to find an official information about this, but this value is confirmed by others.
