I have an iphone simulator running on my Mac.
I have a .ipa file, can you please tell me how can I install it on the simulator?

Just like an APK (Android Application Package) file can be installed on Android devices, an IPA file can be used for testing iOS applications.
Install Apps on SimulatorsGo to Apps > Install Application. Find and open the app you want to install from your Mac. The app appears in the list of installed apps on the right side of the iOS Gateway window.
If you are using your company network while trying to download the . ipa file, make sure that the download is not blocked by the company's firewall. To check this, you can simply turn off the company WLAN and download the app via the mobile network (4G or 3G).
You can't. If it was downloaded via the iTunes store it was built for a different processor and won't work in the simulator.
