I did some research on how to remove logo which removes the Vimeo logo on the bottom right corner. But I want to remove the user logo and author from embedded vimeo video. Is this possible? If yes how can I do that?
Choose the video for which you want to hide the Vimeo logo. Then click on the Setting button - that symbol that looks like a little Lego wheel. Scroll down the page until you see a set of checkboxes. Uncheck the "Vimeo logo" checkbox.
Navigate to the Account tab of your Account Settings. Scroll down to the Private Mode section and click the button that says Enable Private Mode. You'll need to review all the changes that will be made to your account, then re-enter your account password to enable Private Mode.
If you want to customize your embed code, choose +Show Options. In the new menu that appears, you'll be able to make automatic adjustments to your embed code, such as autoplay/loop, colors, embed sizing, etc (note: some of these adjustments can also be done in your video's embed settings or within a text editor).
When logged into Vimeo, go to Settings, click on the Embed tab, and select Always Hide on the Player Preferences. This will prevent any controls from showing on top of the video.
Yes this is possible. However, it depends on the video's settings. If you are the video owner, you can control these attributes in the Embed
Section of the Settings page in the Your Details
section.
As you can see, you have the option to keep these on or turn them off for all embeds. However, if you turn on the
Let Users Decide
then by default the elements are on but can then be turned off by a user either using the URLs params or embed options of byline
, title
and portrait
, as described in this help article.
If you are not the videos owner or only have a basic account (which only allows control of certain embed settings) then there is not much you can do.
