Checking out the API for the Google Play IAB v3, the response for the getSkuDetails()
returns price
, price_amount_micros
and price_currency_code
. Unfortunately, The price does not include tax.
Does anybody know of any other way of getting the full price for a purchase or a IAB/subscription item?

If you do not provide Google with your Business Registration Number, Google will charge and remit 10% VAT on invoiced service fees to the appropriate authority. The 10% VAT charge will be reflected separately from the service fee, where applicable.
You'll always see tax that will be charged on the checkout screen before completing your purchase. The way Google Play calculates and handles tax depends on the type of content. Purchases are made from the developer of the app. In most locations, the developer is responsible for charging taxes (where applicable).
For Google Cloud customers, your Cloud Billing account might be subject to taxes, such as Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Value Added Tax (VAT), depending on your location.
In the UK, Google and Facebook are required to collect and pay VAT on sales to UK customers.
Ok, so apparently the API docs suck. Wow, what a surprise. The price
value has VAT included. Now the follow up question would be, is there any way of getting the VAT free price?
