Error running pod install - Automatically assigning platform `iOS` with version `8.0` on target `Runner`

Hello I am not able to solve this problem with Cocoapods anyone can help me is the first time I am using this import- import 'package:flutter_vlc_player/flutter_vlc_player.Dart'; and not what might be wrong.

(I’m using android studio on mac)

Open [YourProject]/ios/Podfile and remove the # sign from platform :ios, '9.0' and try flutter run. If it doesn't work increase the version number for example to 10.0

Setting Podfile to the version needed for package would work.

For instance, if you want to use webview_cookie_manager 2.0.0, you shoud set minimum version for iOS to 11.0 as given on its spec page.

So on Podfile, setting platform ios value as below works.

 platform :ios, '11.0'
