I'm getting the error "Enable VT-x in your BIOS security settings, ensure that your Linux distro has working KVM module." when I set up the AVD in Android studio.
Although I installed required package e.g HAXM & system images. And although I enable vt-x in BIOS Security.
You can see something like this, now press F10 to get into the Bios setting. Now by pressing the right arrow key you have to select the system configuration tab. Now just select the Virtualization technology by pressing the down arrow key and hit enter key to enable it. Now press F10 to save & exit and hit enter.
Look for an option labeled Virtualization Technology or Intel® Virtualization Technology under the CPU Configurations, System Configurations, Advanced, or Security tab, then check if the option is enabled or disabled. If the option is disabled, enable it.
Intel Virtualization Technology (VT). Formerly known as Vanderpool, this technology enables a CPU to act as if you have several independent computers, in order to enable several operating systems to run at the same time on the same machine.
Most users use it to run Virtual Machines or Emulators in isolation from the host machine. If this feature is not enabled or there are some conflicts, you will get the “VT-x is disabled in BIOS” error on VirtualBox and Android Studio.
In AMD processor, I found the Virtualization Technology
as SVM
. After running the boot menu, search for SVM
(which should be under CPU configuration) and make SVM Mode
as Enabled
