What is the quick keyboard shortcut to get the HTML structure in PhpStorm without having to type out the entire thing?
I have been searching for hours.
If you are using VS code then you can use this command shift + 1 and enter to auto-populate HTML Doctype in HTML or PHP.
On the Keymap page of the Settings/Preferences dialog Ctrl+Alt+S , right-click an action and select Add Keyboard Shortcut. In the Keyboard Shortcut dialog, press the necessary key combination.
You can add keyboard shortcuts to your page through HTML with the global accesskey attribute and trigger it with Alt + Shift + key in Chrome and Firefox on Windows, or use Control + Alt + key on Mac.
Multi-cursor selection in WebStorm: Select next occurrence of the current word or selection: Ctrl+G on macOS and Alt+J on Windows and Linux. Select all occurrences: Ctrl+Cmd+G / Shift+Ctrl+Alt+J. To add or remove multiple carets, you can also press and hold the Alt key, then click at the next location of the caret.
If you know the shortcut of an action, click and press the key combination in the Find Shortcut dialog. When consulting this page and other pages in PhpStorm documentation, you can see keyboard shortcuts for the keymap that you use in the IDE — choose it using the selector at the top of a page.
Every shortcuts you modify (and only those ones) are saved into a XML file located in ~/.WebIde [your-phpstorm-version]/config/keymaps/ Pretty handy if you don’t remember exactly what shortcuts you modified. You can as well create other shortcuts by adding them directly into the file. 3. Navigating in your open files
A Skeleton is the supporting framework of an organism. It is typically made out of something hard, to protect a more vulnerable body. Every Web developer should have an HTML skeleton. Click on the "Try it Yourself" button to see how it works! Try to change the text "This is a Heading" to "This is my Wedding". Did you make it?
You can open a class declaration by using ctrl + click or ctrl + b when your mouse/carret is on the occurrence. This will save you a lot of time. 2. Binding shortcuts I advice you strongly to use as many shortcuts as you can in PhpStorm. It is faster and you will have the feeling you control your IDE.
In a HTML context type !
