As I do not have the money to buy all the Android phones, is there a resource somewhere or can somebody suggest the settings that would best emulate the Nexus, Motrola Droid and HTC Magic etc. Some users are reporting problems with my app and I am thinking it may be due to the screen sizes.
thanks
Android Studio is an official emulator by Google, so it comes with strong reliability and good features. It provides too many options apart from accessing mobile applications on desktop like testing apps, high definition gaming experience, etc.
1. BlueStacks. BlueStacks is undoubtedly one of the best Android emulators that you can find on Windows. It not only covers gaming but as a general user, if you want to enjoy Android apps on Windows PC then BlueStacks is a great emulator at your disposal.
As long as your phone has at least 1GB of RAM, then it exceeds the required specs for Game Boy and GBA emulation. Even aging devices should play these games at a decent clip.
These are the settings I use:
You're not going to get an exact match for the physical devices in the Emulator, but the screen sizes are correct.
Also, due to firmware updates some of these phones can have different firmware levels on. For example, a Droid could be on 2.0 or 2.0.1. The levels above are based on the lowest level each phone could be running.
