To view the full path of an individual file: Click the Start button and then click Computer, click to open the location of the desired file, hold down the Shift key and right-click the file. Copy As Path: Click this option to paste the full file path into a document.
Using os.makedirs() method in Python is used to create a directory recursively. That means while making leaf directory if any intermediate-level directory is missing, os. makedirs() method will create them all.
A full path is also referred to as the file path or the absolute path and refers to the location of your web site files on the server, relative to the server's file system structure.
Something like:
File file = new File("C:\\user\\Desktop\\dir1\\dir2\\filename.txt");
file.getParentFile().mkdirs();
FileWriter writer = new FileWriter(file);
Since Java 1.7 you can use Files.createFile:
Path pathToFile = Paths.get("/home/joe/foo/bar/myFile.txt");
Files.createDirectories(pathToFile.getParent());
Files.createFile(pathToFile);
Use File.mkdirs()
:
File dir = new File("C:\\user\\Desktop\\dir1\\dir2");
dir.mkdirs();
File file = new File(dir, "filename.txt");
FileWriter newJsp = new FileWriter(file);
Use File.mkdirs()
.
Use FileUtils to handle all these headaches.
Edit: For example, use below code to write to a file, this method will 'checking and creating the parent directory if it does not exist'.
openOutputStream(File file [, boolean append])
