When I open my site in Google Chrome, it gives the error failed to load resource in the console. My images are not showing in Chrome but are fine on other browsers. How can I fix this issue?

Chrome's cache clearing process, check all the options, and set the time range to “All time.” After you've cleared your cache, this might reset any options that were producing the error. Check the page in question to see if the resource is now displaying correctly. If not, you can also try resetting Chrome flags.
The only way to fix this is to make sure that the CSS and JS files are properly linked within the HTML. Check whether the folder, file and directory name of these files are spelt correctly. Another way to fix this is by using an absolute URL instead of a relative URL.
In a nutshell, the ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED error means that the operating system or the app cannot convert a DNS address to the correct IP address. In other words, when you type “google.com” into a browser, DNS “translates” google.com to an IP address and then locates and connects to a website.
This error is commonly caused due to one of the extensions installed within Chrome. Most likely you will see this error appear if you are using an extension such as Adblock or a browser safety plugin. For example, Adblock or browser safety extensions use a set of parameters which defines what will be blocked.
I had the same issue. I'm working on Windows 8.1 system and had the problem with almost every page in Google Chrome, IE 11 and Firefox.
This is what worked for me. Run CMD as administrator and execute the following commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /registerdns
I did not have to restart my PC, but everything worked again and all pages on the internet were avalible again.

You might have to check your internet connection. Many a time, the data can't be fetched due to bad or no internet. Or open the site in incognito mode and check whether that works or not. If you are using any blocker extensions, disable and check again. You can do that via (chrome://extensions).
