How do you change the colour of the matching words that are highlighted when you select a word in notepad ++? Depending on style, matching word highlights can be almost invisible.

Go to 'Style Configurator' pop up, in your selected theme (ie/ Choco), in language choose 'Global Styles' then in style choose 'Selected text color'. Here you can change the 'Background color' value to one that suits you.
Highlight selected text Select the text that you want to highlight. Go to Home and select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color. Select the color that you want. Note: Use a light highlight color if you plan to print the document by using a monochrome palette or printer.
Select Text in Notepad To quickly select a single word, double-click the word. If you prefer to use the keyboard, hold the Shift key and use the arrow keys to select text in any direction. Hold Ctrl and Shift while pressing the left or right arrow key to select one word at a time instead of a space at a time.
