Can I test a program for Google Glass without Google Glass?

Can I write and test a Hello World program for Google Glass without actually having it? Is there an emulator I can use to test the app?

Is there an app for Google Glass?

Step 2: Open the MyGlass app on your phone Select the Google Account you want to connect to your Glass device. If you don't see the option to select an account, click the menu on the top right of the app and select Setup Glass.

Why did Google discontinue Google Glass?

Just two years after they were launched, Google announced they would no longer be producing a consumer version of the glasses. Google Glass failed primarily because of a poor product-market fit. The developers believed the glasses would sell on hype and not on how they would solve user problems.

I have seen a video showing that we can run it on Nexus Tablet. Check out the link http://liliputing.com/2013/05/run-google-glass-apps-on-a-nexus-7-tablet.html

No... there's not official Google Glass Emulator.

Yes... you can preview your cards in playground. This shows you how content is displayed on Google Glass.

And yes... you can test Google Glass apps on Android Device (Nexus 7, Nexus 5, ...) with this. If you don't know how to do that, look at this. But don't expect, that it'll work without bugs.
