I want to create an iphone app for personal use.
Can I just put it on my phone and use it or do I have to go through the iphone store process to get it on my phone?
Thanks.
Xcode is a great way to create an app for iPhone. It's a free download from Apple and is straightforward to use. Xcode has a built-in interface builder that makes it easy to prototype your design then connect your interface to your source code. You can also debug your app and submit it to the app market.
You can develop a single app for iPhone, Android phones and tablets. iBuildApp App Builder software allows businesses to develop mobile apps in a matter of minutes, no coding required! Free Android apps, easy drag and drop, 1000s templates, 24/5 support and more.
Sideloading Apps Maybe the simplest way to add apps to your iPhone without using the App Store is by using a technique called sideloading. Sideloading is the name used for installing apps directly on the iPhone rather than using the App Store.
As long as you have a valid developer certificate to sign the app and you have a development provisioning profile and your device is registered as a test device. For that you need to be registered as an iPhone Developer Program member.
In other words, you have to pay Apple $99 to be able to put your own app on your own phone.
Yes, you can run your own apps on your phone. You need a paid iPhone developer account though.
