I'm reading about sqlalchemy and I saw following code:

Should I make 'type' an int, with constants in a library? Or should I make just make type an enum?
Enum is a class within the sqlalchemy. types module of the SQLAlchemy project.
create_all() function to create the tables that are associated with your models. In this case you only have one model, which means that the function call will only create one table in your database: from app import db, Student.
PickleType. Holds Python objects, which are serialized using pickle.
SQLite does support the enum data type, but it is very compact to store the data.
Python's enumerated types are directly acceptable by the SQLAlchemy Enum type as of SQLAlchemy 1.1:

Note that above, the string values "one", "two", "three" are persisted, not the integer values.
