I recently installed the Market App on the Android Emulator (in a virtual device with Android 2.2), but when I search for the Wikitude app it didn't appear! The webpage of the market lists it, but it doesn't appear on the emulator (other apps does).
Does anyone know why this happens and/or how to fix it?
Thanks!
If you are missing a third-party app from the Application screen, you may have uninstalled it by mistake. Enable the app in the Settings menu. If you are missing a pre-installed app on the Application screen, you may have disabled it by mistake.
If you can't find your app on some Android devices, it's possible that those devices aren't supported or are excluded by your app. Learn how to review your app's device compatibility and excluded devices. Also, make sure that the Android devices you're using are supported for use with Google Play.
Apps can go missing from your home screen due to many reasons. As for Android users, the commonest reason is that you (or someone else) removed the app icon from your home screen manually. On most Android devices, users can simply pull out an app by long-pressing and swiping it to an X icon above the screen.
Some apps don't show in the Android Market based off device capability. There may be a device hardware feature you're not emulating, causing the Market not to show the Wikitude app.
I've had issues with specific devices when I had the "Copy Protection" flag enabled when publishing the app. Disabling this feature made the app appear in the Market app on the device.
