I have an airflow running in a docker container on an EC2. When I try to access the task logs in the airflow UI it redirects me to localhost, I then have to replace localhost with the EC2 ip to see the log. This works but it would be nicer if I didn't have to change the address every time.
My question is, can I change this behavior and if yes where?
I searched some time on this site but all I could find is people having problems with the logs themselves but no this redirecting problem. I thought that I would find something in airflow.cfg
but I couldn't figure out if this is the right place.

Users can specify the directory to place log files in airflow. cfg using base_log_folder . By default, logs are placed in the AIRFLOW_HOME directory.
The PID file for the webserver will be stored in $AIRFLOW_HOME/airflow-webserver. pid or in /run/airflow/webserver.
Apache Airflow ports The webserver is listening on port 8080. It is also remotely accesible through port 80 over the public IP address of the virtual machine.
As apathyman replied you can change it in the airflow.cfg

As an alternative you can set up an environment variable:
