I want to integrate ads via admob in my website, but I can't choose type website although there seems to be an option for it.
It says "Select site or app type", but it offers only app types. Admob's dashboard is confusing me in so many ways.
What should I do?

You can use Google Web Designer to create HTML5 ads for use in AdMob ads. First, download Google Web Designer, then use the instructions in the Google Web Designer help center to create an ad. Create a new ad from scratch using the AdMob environment or use a template that has Google AdMob as a supported platform.

Ads won't show if you haven't integrated the Google Mobile Ads SDK correctly. Is your ad implementation code working properly? Test your implementation code to check that ads can show. You can also use ad inspector to test your app's ad serving.
In 2022, you can't monetize your app with admob without publishing it on Google Play Store or any other app store.
Admob provides ads to mobiles not web sites. Use Adsense instead. https://www.google.com/adsense
