The manifest file describes essential information about your app to the Android build tools, the Android operating system, and Google Play.
Extracting and reading the manifest file - iOS Tutorial xml is used to describe the functionality and requirements of an Android application. And it's generated as part of the build process for that Android application. This is a compiled XML binary file and, to read it, we'll use a tool called Apktool.
The AndroidManifest. xml file contains information of your package, including components of the application such as activities, services, broadcast receivers, content providers etc.
To set your App or any individual activity display in Full Screen mode, insert the code
<application
android:icon="@drawable/icon"
android:label="@string/app_name"
android:theme="@android:style/Theme.NoTitleBar.Fullscreen">
in AndroidManifest.xml, under application or activity tab.
Another way: add windowNoTitle
and windowFullscreen
attributes directly to the theme (you can find styles.xml
file in res/values/
directory):

in the manifest file, in application
specify your theme
<application
android:icon="@drawable/ic_launcher"
android:label="@string/app_name"
android:theme="@style/AppTheme" >
If your Manifest.xml
has the default android:theme="@style/AppTheme"
Go to res/values/styles.xml and change
