I've noticed normal channel IDs have "UC" at the start while automatically generated ones have "HC". Normal playlists have "PL" but special ones, like uploaded or favourite videos, have "UU" and "FL", which however doesn't apply to autogenerated channels, they have "LP". That's what I've found so far. Is there any list of all these prefixes with their meaning?
Edit: Playlists based on a specific video begin with "RD"+the video ID.
Find your channel's user ID & channel IDYou can see your channel's user and channel IDs in your advanced account settings on a computer or mobile browser. Sign in to YouTube. From the left menu, select Advanced settings. You'll see your channel's user and channel IDs.
The playlist ID is the characters after “list=” so in the URL above, our playlist ID is PLFs4vir_WsTwEd-nJgVJCZPNL3HALHHpF. Copy the playlist ID. Go back to SociableKIT dashboard and paste it in the “YouTube Playlist ID” field.
Playlists allow a content owner to group content together for embedding on an external web page. Every time you add a new or remove an item to a Playlist, your embedded player automatically updates to reflect this change. Channels allow a content owner to group media together in MediaSpace.
Login your YouTube account, click Playlists in the top menu, then click the playlist to edit it. 2. Click the Share button, copy playlist ID from the Share URL.
There is not a guideline and they may always change. I strongly suggest not to depend on them but the pure API methods.
