After updating from macOS High Sierra to Mojave and I successfully installed Xcode 7.3.1 but it cannot be opened. Does Mojave support Xcode 7?
For macOS 10.14. 4, Xcode versions compatible are: Xcode 10.2 - 11.3.
The macOS 10.14. 6 SDK provides support for developing apps for Macs running macOS Mojave 10.14. 6. The SDK comes bundled with Xcode 10.3 available from the Mac App Store.
Recent versions of Xcode require macOS 10.14. 4 or higher to run. Since you have 10.13. 6, you can't run that version of Xcode.
Xcode 11 supports development for devices running iOS 13.1. Xcode 11 supports on-device debugging for iOS 8 and later, tvOS 9 and later, and watchOS 2 and later. Xcode 11 requires a Mac running macOS Mojave 10.14. 4 or later.
I have experienced the same issue after upgrading to macOS Mojave. The only solution which I had to do is to download Xcode 8 and migrate to Swift 3.
