The certificate for our Azure blob storage expired today. This is not a certificate provided by us but provided by Microsoft as show in the picture below. How does one go about fixing this? I have tried searching for a solution but found nothing. Our app cannot connect to the storage as the certificate has expired and we are getting an error indicating: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel

Sign in to the Azure portal, and then open the certificate you want to renew. On the certificate pane, select New Version. On the Create a certificate page make sure the Generate option is selected under Method of Certificate Creation. Verify the Subject and other details about the certificate and then click Create.
You can use the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) certificates snap-in (computer store). You should right-click the expiring certificate and choose “All Tasks –> Renew certificate with new key”.
Expired digital certificates can cause a network outage or downtime incurring adverse effects on an organization's network and functionality. Digital certificates like TLS/SSL certificates play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of your website.
As a temporary measure I was able to log into the azure portal and change the protocol part of the connection string from https to http.
