I wonder why xCode 6 Beta the Organizer doesn't contain "Devices" tab?
Anyways, xCode shows that device is connected.
Thanks,
In xCode, if I go to Window --> Organizer, the left bar just says "No Projects". Whereas, previously it would show my device. It is recognized in the Devices section when I go to Window --> Devices.
Just for fun & giggles: I have rebooted, reinstalled Xcode, uninstalled Xcode using the nifty unix uninstaller, reinstalled Xcode, rerebooted, and not once was Xcode able to see my iPad or iPhone, despite the fact, as I stated before, that I can sync just fine. Here is the syncie proof you have been craving:
The instruments cli tool from Apple has an answer to that. instrumenst “ runs an Instrument template from the command line ”, and one of the available options to pass is is -s devices, to “ show list of known devices, and then exit ”.
"Devices" now has its own window. Go to "Window" menu then "Devices" or press Shift-Command-2.
