We have Gradle script for build the multiple projects. It is working fine with gradle 2.2.1 version but with new Gradle release 2.3 projects are not building. It gives the following error.

If gradle --version works, but all of your builds fail with the same error, it is possible there is a problem with one of your Gradle build configuration scripts. You can verify the problem is with Gradle scripts by running gradle help which executes configuration scripts, but no Gradle tasks.
You can execute multiple tasks from a single build file. Gradle can handle the build file using gradle command. This command will compile each task in such an order that they are listed and execute each task along with the dependencies using different options.
Gradle builds are used to define a project and its tasks. At least one Gradle build file is located in the root folder of the project. A task represents the work that a Gradle build has to perform, e.g., compiling the source code of the program. You can execute multiple tasks at a time under one build file.
It was failing also with 2.2.1 version of gradle. See the output below:
