I just started with Android SDK and want to install some plugins but i can't find the eclipse market place in android sdk. Is this part of android sdk already or must it be installed?
You can also access the Eclipse Marketplace Client by clicking the Help tab → Eclipse Marketplace or you can simply go to the Eclipse Marketplace website: https://marketplace.eclipse.org/ and browse solutions there.
eclipse directory in the user's home directory is used. For newer Eclipse installs using the Oomph installer a . p2 directory in the user's home directory is used.
So go to Eclipse-> Help--> Install New software and --> type Oxygen in the "Work with" space (or copy paste this "Oxygen - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/oxygen".) Now search "Market place client" in the second search box . You will get as below: General purpose tools-->Market place client.
the marketplace could be manually installed:
help->install new software->choose Juno->general purpose software-> Marketplace client
