The feature requires an iPhone 8 or later running iOS 14 or later, though Apple recommends making sure your iPhone has the latest available software, which at the time of writing is iOS 15.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch. Tap Customize Top Level Menu, then tap an icon to reassign a different function to its position. Use the + and - buttons to change the number of buttons that appear in the menu.
You can adjust accessibility settings for the side button (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Home button (on other iPhone models). Go to Settings > Accessibility, then tap Side Button (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Home Button (on other iPhone models).
Jeff LaMarche has some very iOS-looking and simple-to-use programmatic gradient buttons here.
You just need to add a .h and .m file to your project and you are good to go.
