What is the difference between Web farm and Web Garden?

A web farm is a group of two or more web servers (or nodes) that host multiple instances of an app. When requests from users arrive to a web farm, a load balancer distributes the requests to the web farm's nodes.
web garden:The process model helps enable scalability on multiprocessor computers by distributing the work to several processes, one per CPU, each with processor affinity set to its CPU. This eliminates cross-processor lock contention and is ideal for large SMP systems. This technique is called Web gardening.
It is created within Internet Information Services (IIS) by creating an application pool, selecting the Performance tab, and under the "Web Garden" section, setting the maximum number of worker processes to a value greater than 1.
Advantages of Web FarmIt provides high availability. If any of the servers in the farm goes down, Load balancer can redirect the requests to other servers. Provides high performance response for client requests. Provides better scalability of the web application and reduces the failure of the application.
Web Garden is the web hosting system which comprises of multiple “processes”.
Web Farm is the web hosting system which comprises of multiple “computers”.
