I have created ads for my app using admob-sdk. im getting revenue but i dont know what is eCpm, fillrate, rpm
I've been searching the web but cant find the correct solution for this question..
eCPM stands for effective cost per Mille (or effective cost per thousand impressions) and RPM stands for Revenue per thousand impressions. Both the terms usually mean the same but they are used in different contexts.
What's the difference between RPM and CPM? CPM is the cost per 1000 ad impressions before YouTube revenue share. RPM is your total revenue (after YouTube's revenue share) per 1000 views. The actual revenue earned after revenue share.
The main difference between CPM and eCPM is that CPM is only used in the context of calculating cost per a thousand impressions in a CPM ad buying model, while eCPM is a revenue metric that can be applied to any pricing method.
Effective cost per thousand impressions. eCPM is an estimate of the revenue you receive for every thousand ad impressions. eCPM is calculated as (Total Earnings / Impressions) x 1000.
How do you calculate eCPM? Publishers can calculate eCPM using a simple formula: divide the ad revenue earned by the number of ad impressions served, and multiply the result by 1,000. This formula can determine the eCPM of specific ad placements or all inventory related to an app.
Those are different ad mob metrics that help you measure how effective you app is at displaying ads
Ecpm = earnings per thousand requests
Fill rate = the percent of your requests that received ads (sometimes there are no ads to show)
Rpm = earnings per thousand requests (virtually the same as ecpm)
