I am in need of a new laptop, and I'm considering going for a Mac. However, an import part of my day-to-day work involves remote desktop'ing to my office computer (Vista), and running Visual Studio 2008. Has anyone done this? Are there specific issues to be aware of?

To use Remote Desktop, your administrator and client computers must meet these requirements: Mac computers must be running OS X 10.10. 5 or later. Mac client computers must have version 3.6 or later of the Remote Desktop client software for full control.

This is generally caused by a slow network connection on the client computer. Navigate to the Experience tab of the Remote Desktop client and choose a different option under Performance to reduce the bandwidth used by Remote Desktop.
