I was born in 1965. I'm an old-school computer user, since 1982.
I used BASIC on ZX81, BASIC and 6502-asm on Oric-1, GFA-BASIC, m68k-asm (68030 + FPU 68882) and C on Amiga (A500 then A2000).
On PC since 2003. Windows XP, then I tried a few Linux distros (Mandrake, RedHat, Debian, Ubuntu, Mint). At the moment, I only use Debian (desktop & laptop). I write sh/bash and C for my own use. I met PovRay (ray-tracer) on Amiga, and still use it on PC/Linux.
I have written a few plugins for FOSS LeBiniou, a visual tool written by an old friend. All z... ('z' stands for "zebulon", my pseudo) plugins are those I wrote. This is this guy that made me know Linux for the first time, in 1998. A Slackware. I even tried a bit linux-68k on my own Amiga. But I didn't had enough video RAM to run a graphic desktop :( But it worked :)
At the moment, I'm unable to work because of long-time disease. But I still use my own computers to do things I like to : image rendering, sound synthesis, music making (as a long time trackers user), video composing, ... Sometimes, I write some code to make a particular personnal job I need.
