I'm currently working as an Excel (mainly VBA a bit of C++) developer.
C++ was love at first sight. I can see myself doing more and more of it in the future.
I am generally interested in technology and programming. I've been picking round COM (Matt Curland's book was a revelation..), ATL, WTL, MFC, C++ and native code in general. I'm one of the people who believe MS should have fixed VB6 instead of retiring it. Interoperability with C++ is so simple, there could have been something great there...
C++11 (fingers crossed) promises to be great! The language is changing radically and for the better. I'm happy to also see MS getting involved with the very strong CRT and PPL libraries. It's still undefined, but I feel there is some strange energy in the air :)
