I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Inria Lille - Nord Europe, France. I am current active in research on edge-based vehicular networks. Before joining INRIA, I was a Research Engineer and PhD candidate at Service Architecture Lab, Institut Mines-Telecom, Telecom SudParis, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, France and I got my PhD in January 2020. I obtained my Master (by research) degrees in Computer Science from Sunway University, Malaysia and Lancaster University, United Kingdom in 2015 under a dual degree program and my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan in 2012. During my Master research, I was also Research Assistant at MIMOS Berhad, Malaysia. I worked as research assistant at Sunway University, Malaysia for nine months and worked on Indoor Localization and Navigation project. I also have software development experience at KNYSYS for about one year.
My research interests include Internet of things (IoT), vehicular networks, edge computing, smart cities, recommendation services, wireless networks (cognitive radio networks, wireless sensor networks and cognitive radio sensor networks), routing (flat and clustered) and semantic web.
