Active in web programming for about 10 years, I prefer to work with PHP, MySQL, (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery; however I am always looking to expand my skills.
Since January 2011 I have been working as a freelance website developer for Oomph! Design based in Cheltenham.
During 2010 I was volunteering in the IT sector to gain experience in the market, such as computer building for IT Schools Africa, and some retail/sales experience at PC World in Cheltenham.
In 2007 I took the decision to formalise and prove my skills by completing a BTEC in Web Development where I gained a triple Distinction.
The course content is designed to prepare students for work so therefore included an extensive insight into other areas of ICT such as networking, systems security, employability skills, e-commerce and the impact of ICT on business systems.
I have always been interested in ICT, solving technical problems for friends and family, from digital cameras to installing television equipment.
