Beginning a new job as Programmer for a Fortune 500 company. Graduated in 2012, did help desk support for this company for a year, and am now into the programming world. I am a fairly new programmer(Computer Information Systems and not Computer Science/Programming major) and am starting up in Java. Any help of any kind would be appreciated and any tips. I have found out that programming is tough stuff especially as a newbie to it, but very interesting and stimulates the problem solving and critical thinking process. I aspire to just learn something every day, with no timeline of promotions or anything of that sort. I do have a goal of managing a large group of developers one day. I am a positive-spirited person and believe you can truly achieve anything with a positive mind and willingness to learn and learn from failure.
