I have been a program developer working under Amazon.com since 2011. My areas of expertise include: Linux, PHP5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Perl, Oracle, MySQL, Bash, VBA, AHK, and various other programming languages and environments.
I have been programming as a hobbyist since 1996 when I first taught myself HTML and JavaScript. Slowly advanced into ASP Classic. When Microsoft started releasing ASP.NET I decided to change directions discover the wonderful world of Linux environments where I adopted a fascination PHP, MySQL, Oracle, and Perl.
Today as I work under Amazon.com, I act as a consultant for my team and other departments remotely across the United States to help provide and resolve arising barriers in the computer languages I have spent so long to master.
I am a strong believer in the "TMTOWTDI" philosophy but I believe there is a correct way to do it in an controlled environment where a multitude of employees are expected to troubleshoot an application.
As my career advances, I make a strong point to focus on frugality, efficiency, performance, user-friendly interfaces, and understandability when developing applications by participating in focus groups that strive to acquire common goals and attune the mindset of the next generation program developer.
