I have an academic background in computer science, linguistics and criminology -- although my knowledge in comic books and tennis fills up most of my brain.
My first love is C# but you may catch me shamelessly flirting with Java, JavaScript, R, SQL, PHP and Python. I can deposit many things into a RDBMS, MongoDB or other noSQL system -- but my heart belongs to Neo4j using Cypher.
I'm not a "code ninja" or "programming warrior." I'm just a guy who likes to solve problems using statistics, algorithms and programming languages.
What I do now: Mostly web development, including HTML5 front ends, with database design and scripting on the back end.
What I sometimes do: Data Science - from descriptive and inferential statistics to prediction models, specializing in classification with deep neural networks in the field of NLP (voice recognition, text prediction, and word embedding, POS tagging, semantic-syntax-phonology interfacing), semantic scene tagging, and visual object recognition.
What I want to do: More data analysis, machine learning, data administration, police officer, AI and NLP, coffee testing, creating mobile apps. I'm also interested in newer neural network architectures, like adversarial, capsule/hierarchical, generative, and embedding.
