Starting in 1975 I did 7 or 8 years working in various different assembler languages. The two I liked the best were TI 9900 and Motorola 68000, they were so much cleaner than other CPUs. I very much enjoyed assembler but when I learned "C" that was like a dream come true. Had I not suffered a few months in between doing Pascal, I might not have loved "C" as much as I did.
I never understood why Python became so popular, to me it seemed old fashioned, I played with it but thankfully I never had to use it to earn a living.
After 43 years working as a programmer I am now happily retired.
