About

Three Laws of Programming:

  1. Leave elegance to your tailor.
  2. Rigid adherence to design patterns is itself an anti-pattern.
  3. The correct solution is the one that solves the problem.
  4. You can either point out all the errors in the details or you can get stuff done.

"You should be able to downvote as much as you want, but each downvote should cost you half your rep."

If you target your answer to the level of expertise you can reasonably infer from the question asked and the way the person asking the question posed it, you can also reasonably expect a self-appointed expert to decide your answer needs to be edited to include details the original poster could not possibly care about because they could not possibly understand them. Which leads to me this question: "Why is there no trollish nitpicking badge?"
