A final year undergraduate computer science student at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). After attaining a firm grasp on core CS concepts like Data Structures, Algorithms, OOP, etc. I went on to take specialized courses like Data Science, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Distributed Systems to enhance my problem-solving skills further. The programming assignments of the courses mentioned above helped me improve my programming skills as well as other skills like data analysis, data visualization, data modeling, scripting, web scraping, and debugging, to name a few. Over these past four years, I have gained sufficient experience and hence a strong command over programming languages like Python, Javascript, Golang, C/C++, SQL, as well as popular machine learning libraries Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Keras, Apache Spark, pandas, numpy, matplotlib, and others. I have also learned to break down goals and prioritize objectives to derive an action plan and manage time effectively. Discipline, hard work, and my passion for actively learning new technologies and skills led me to take online courses to learn new things, not in my academic curriculum. I have developed a keen interest in machine learning/deep learning and data science, which motivated me to work on individual and group projects with great enthusiasm. As a result, I joined as a Research Assistant in the Computer Vision Lab at LUMS. I am currently researching Cross-View Image Retrieval by designing new models to experiment new approaches to beat state-of-the-art models. I'm always working on improving myself and making myself as knowledgable as I can. I'm incredibly excited to enter the industry and start applying my machine learning and programming skills to build exciting new products. In my free time, I like to read, workout, watch football, and listen to music.
