I am a Scottish pensioner who wrote my first programme in 1985. It was a game for the Commodore 64 written in basic on a tape. I upgraded to a 5.25" floppy disc drive for a faster programming speed and wrote a game of the TV Programme "Countdown" in machine code.

I have been authoring websites since 1997 (That was a really awful website - lol) in HTML, ASP Classic, and latterly in PHP. I retired from my freelance photography business last year and am now learning C++. My arthritis prevents me from getting about much so I spend a lot of time at my PC.
