I'm a father and English (ESL) teacher in Dresden, Germany. I'm trying to teach myself Python (after finding more online courses for it than C++) because I tend to say things in conversations like "Shouldn't it be possible to program a computer to do that for you?" This is my way of learning.
So far, it's been both very rewarding and extremely frustrating. I don't think I've thought the phrase "attention to detail" so often since I left the Army.
