Tim Cools has been fascinated by programming since he was 10 years old. It began with BASIC running under MS DOS, after that he used the most common computer languages. Now he has 12 years of experience as a professional programmer and he has specialized in .NET for the last 9 years. He has an analytical mind, is eager to learn and is quick to grasp the newest technologies. He has experience in all phases the software development: analysis, design, development and documentation. He can work independently, or be a key member and contributor on any team.
He constantly studies progressive development methods like TDD, BDD, IoC, AOP and continuous integration and uses those skills to improve the quality of the software he develops. He also mentors his co-workers to improve the overall quality of the software developed by the team.
He stays abreast of current industry trends by reading books and blogs about software development. He is an early adopter of the latest beta releases to be able to use these new technologies whenever they are released.
