Tiago has 20+ years of experience in IT industry, spent mainly in management / leadership of software development teams and companies. As CTO, he participated twice in the growing of companies from 5 to ~150 people, managing large teams, processes, and overall company management.

Holding a Master in Computer Science and a post graduate degree in Management of Technological companies, he’s also a certified Project Management Professional (PMI). He also holds several Scrum Alliance certifications and is a recognized leader in the agile movement in Portugal. He’s a regular speaker in many events and is very much involved with local technical communities.

Currently Tiago works as Principal ISV Industry Lead in the Commercial Software Engineering group at Microsoft Corp where he manages a team of Technical Evangelists that work closely with top global ISVs driving the adoption of Microsoft Technologies.
