I'm developing software since the mid 80s and touched many languages from Turbo Pascal via Python, Java, Smalltalk, and Erlang/OTP to Go today.

Since 1999 I'm also writing articles about software development and databases for several German IT magazines. In January 2011 I published my first book about system programming in Go. Additionally I'm giving talks about software development on different conferences.

Since 2011 I'm mostly working in the area of Cloud Native and Kubernetes software projects, many of them as OSS.
