I am a mobile developer with more than 13 years of experience in engineering (8 years on backend, and 5 years on mobile).
As an Android developer I have worked in all sorts of different settings: as a freelancer, in small startups, in app studios, and on big apps with millions of MAUs, like Reddit and the SCRUFF/Jack'd dating apps.
When it comes to writing code, I appreciate well-architected code with high maintainability, but I also enjoy building beautiful and responsive UI and eye-catching animations.
I always try to keep myself up-to-date with the latest developments in the Android ecosystem and follow the latest trends. I also like sharing my thoughts, findings and opinions with the community through articles that I publish on Medium: https://medium.com/@aristides.papadopoulos
I hold two Master's degrees, one in High Performance Computing, and the other one in Statistics and Operational Research.
