I'm an actuary with experience in life and health insurance. I started my career using SAS, various forms of SQL, and VBA within Excel. I've dabbled with other languages, including C++, C#, Python, PHP, and JavaScript, but haven't used them professionally.

A few years ago I read an article in an actuarial magazine about F# and have been making strides to adopt ever since. It has been a challenge since it isn't widely used in my industry, but I'm making progress!
