I have experience setting up and maintaining a git server, then supporting an Engineering department as they changed over from using Perforce. I've recently taken over Jenkins, our build server, that uses a pile of VMs to do nightly builds. And I started out creating a thinly provisioned disk using guestfish.
My main background is Perl, databases (sqlite, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL), Linux, and a little Solaris. I've set up two home NFS servers, both of which are RAID-1. Before I got into Perl in about 1998, I developed software in C and Pascal, and before that, assembler (6809, 68000, x86).
