Sven Haiges is Technology Strategist at hybris in Munich. Before, he has worked at Yahoo Inc. in Sunnyvale, California, a Munich-based startup called Actionality (sold to Yahoo in 2007) and Vodafone R&D. Sven has a degree in Computer Science from the German University of Furtwangen and got a Management of Technology MBA from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. During his day to day work, he currently deals a lot with RESTful Web Services, Android & NFC or HTML5. His favorite scripting language is Groovy and he has co-authored the Grails Podcast for about 4 years.
