I am an entrepreneurial minded programmer who is constantly looking for problems to fix with my programming skills. I tend to be someone who can look at a problem, figure out what I must learn, quickly learn it and then implement a solution.
I started coding when I was 14 and it all started with wanting to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live. However, my father would not buy me Xbox Live and so I decided that I was going to make my own money and buy myself Xbox Live. I learned how to develop websites and did a few freelancing projects. I was able to buy Xbox Live for myself at the end of the day.
As I grew up, I started to learn how widespread technology has become and how that opens up many new doors for programmers and developers. We can solve many problems including some which can end up saving the world. That excites me. To know that my skillset is something that can provide immense value for the world.
My business side helps me decide on which problems are more meaningful to solve. At the end of the day, if you can get someone to pay you for a solution, you know you've created a solution for something that was painful enough for someone to hand over their money to you.
I am constantly looking for new problems to solve. I adhere to the Lean Startup methodology taught by Eric Ries and Ash Maurya to navigate through complex decision making. One day, I see myself starting something huge, whether it's through a startup venture or as an "intrapreneur".
